Club Information

(Established in 1973 - AMA Charter #1075 - IMAA Chapter #260)

Welcome to the Texas City R/C Club, where you will find flyers of all ages and skill levels. Primarily a Radio Control Aircraft group with a few Helicopter enthusiasts, the club also has an active IMAA Chapter of Big Bird Flyers. The field consists of two well maintained grass runways, plenty of shade, and an air-conditioned concession stand with refreshments available year round. Club dues are very affordable at only $60.00 per year for members and $30.00 per year for junior members. For more information please contact one of the club officers, attend a meeting, or bring your airplane out and fly as our guest (AMA Required).

Meetings: Last Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Nessler Recreation Center (corner of 21st & 5th Ave. North, Texas City, TX).

Club Flight Instructors are available for those learning to fly.
